My husband and I are new to the "cloth diaper experience" and are really loving it so far. We borrowed a few from a friend to try out and today started using the "second quality" diapers for ourselves. There is hardly anything noticeably wrong with the diapers and work just as well as the new, (bought new also). So, as far as we are concerned we will try to buy the second quality as soon as we need more and they are in stock!!!

Which insert should I choose? Inserts not included with seconds.
Microfiber inserts are absorbant and economical. Use one for daytime or two for nights and naps. 3 layers of microfiber.
LoopyDo inserts are the #1 insert on Diaper Pin. Combining both hemp and microfiber makes them both absorbant and trim. Sewn in a loop so they dry fast, prewashed so they're ready for use after just one wash.

Wash once before use.
For routine washing, run a cold rinse with no detergent. Then a hot wash with 1/2 the amount of detergent recommended on detergent label. Extra rinse if needed. Hang to dry or machine dry on normal or warm setting.
No bleach, fabric softeners, or commercial diaper creams. (Creams sold on this site are acceptable to use with cloth diapers.)
